This is exactly the kind of dream house I'd want! Quite big but not too big to loose control over it. Everything makes sense in it and there's nothing unnecessary. I wonder what it would look like on the inside, colors, tables, walls, floor, lights and all that.

In terms of new stuff I think just the thin portable, as that's the only thing there's been any leaks/evidence for (the leaks usually have everything covered!)
The thin portable was a duh. Wasn't much else introduced, just the NAS thing. 8/10 then...
Other than that, refreshes - in order of likelihood: MBP refresh with the new keyboard (even tho I think it'd look a bit odd if it's white), 16GB iPhone (not 3G yet), Glossy ACD option, Cheap ACD option (watch for the gradients and poor quality!), MacBook refresh, maybe some tweak to the ATV, maybe a non Glossy iMac option (just to wind up those who bought an iMac and dislike it!).
The one I said was the most likely didn't happen. No iPhone update, no ACDs, no MacBook refresh, correct on the ATV tweak, no non-glossy iMac.
let's give that 2/10..

Best Buy does this all the time. I purchased a Samsung TV off their Web site for in-store sameday pickup last year, and took my receipt to my local store. They wouldn't give me the TV I already purchased because they were holding all of that model until Sunday because of their Sunday ad flyer. They had at least 10 of that model in stock on their store shelves.
They told me I could come back Sunday to pick it up. Naturally, I refused (this was like Tuesday), called Best Buy Online and had them refund my purchase. Then, purchased from Amazon.
I'll never purchase anything major from them again.

It's already been explained to you that left-handedness is mentioned in history classes. Why do you have a problem with gay people being discussed? WHY?

My point is lefties don't get history coverage in California so why should homosexuals? Furthermore American history classes end in the 1950s. I wouldn't have a problem with homosexuals being discussed when pertinent if we actually had the time, as it stands we don't.

Well I just spent over 100 bucks on these specials. Call of Duty 2 special was too good not to pass up and I always upgrade my .mac account on this day.

I don't think this is wrong if the TSA has a valid reason for suspecting that a passenger is carrying something suspicious. Also, it should be policy that if you fail the screening test, a passenger should be allowed to go through a 2nd time, but perhaps with their arms in a different position (or something). They shouldn't be allowed to pat-down someone unless there's a reason, and all other measures have been taken.

i've a feeling that there's some wierd law that i heard of that all films being launched europe wide had to be launched simultanously in all languages. not sure if that's true or not but that might affect european films coming through (sorry bout the spelling, me no like words :) )

Can't believe it's been 10 years. I had my iMac G3 running OS 9 and didn't evenknow about OS X until I visited a friends house, who had the same iMac running OS X. Ill never forget how blown away I was, and that first look was truly the first look at everything that still makes Macs great today.

Years back I suggested a thanks button but it went nowhere. In truth I'm glad because it was flawed idea and so is this. Of all the things that could really use changing around here THIS is what we get? I really don't understand the point at all but I can certainly see some big drawbacks to it.
Firestarter had some good ideas here (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=12442078&postcount=150) if it simply must stick around but I really hope it doesn't. I've watched it happen on other forums - it becomes a popularity contest more than anything useful, particularly if there are little to no controls with it.
P.S. The box surrounding the up/down buttons is baboon-ass ugly.

The idea of having a slider for changing tabs, having the active tab lighter in color than darker, reminds me of the interface of my LED Machines app, where you have to choose between music from the itunes collection or sound for the alarm.

That is good to know, because 1.1.2 runs like crap on a Quad with a 6800GT and 8GB of RAM. Unacceptable, really.
I think something might be wrong with your install. I run Aperture on my MBP and it runs really well. It's definitely an easier workflow than my previous, which was iView --> ACR --> Photoshop.

Google's approach is completely different. When phones running the Google OS detect any wireless network, they beam its MAC address, signal strength and GPS coordinates to Google servers, along with the unique ID of the handset.
You can check if any androids have reported your home network to google by inputting your router's MAC here:

Well if they do launch it so soon, it probably won't replace the current iPods, but be a new highend model.
I agree, the 5.5 release is too soon to have it be a full replacement. Additionally it will likely be a lot more expensive and an unnecessary extra cost to those who don't need that functionality. Now the question remains however, will there be multiple capacities for the "true video" or just one large on?
