Btw, apparently the law firm that argued the case for Mocanu and the others was: Orlow, Kaplan and Hohenstein (http://www.orlow.com/index.htm).
Wonder whether it is worth initiating a conversation about the validity of the legal argument for recapture (Mocanu + Aytes memo + Galvez-Howerton) with them -- they certainly know enough about the details of the name check process; they might need some more details about the 2003-2004 lost EB greencards, but I'd say they are pretty well prepped for all the other details.

I am wondering why it is that nobody knows whether a bill will be introduced in Sept. The house and senate have their timetables set long in advance.
Also, if it goes beyond Nov, and the Dems win, they might forget all about us; they care far more for the illegals, unfortunately.:(

I saw status update on May 20th and yet to get the copy in hand.

It is hard to find Software engineers who do not qualify for EB2. I guess after couple of years EB2 would be as packed as EB3.

Did Anyone got 2 year EAD when I-140 pending? There is some stupid assumption posted on some immigration website that USCIS is issuing 2 yr EAD to approved 140 petitions only..

You need to go before filing labor in order to be eligible for one year extension.
I do not agree with this. H1 extension is allowed if perm is filled one year before completion of 6 year on H1 + any recapture time.

I tried to educate some of the university students( MS) about our issue. They dont
even care! Its seems like, they think, somebody else will take care of this
Its bound to happen. Everyone thinks others will do it, and they dont care(dont want to make any efforts) even though they really want GCs from their inside. Howver we will still find some people who care for this cause and will join the group. so its worth trying.

Finally my EB-2 Sch-A Cat.II I-140 got approved on Oct-30. I got five emails today.
I submitted my I-140 as regular and then upgraded to Premium a week before on Oct-25.
thanks to all of you on this important forums who helped me lot in the process.
Now I will be enjoying ride of Retrogession Starting from Nov-1 in Sch-A cases.
Will Keep posted about I-485 as it develops.
Good luck to all.

Happy Scenario
1) Once my EB2 labor gets approved, Do they have to file new I 140 again (OR) can they use the approved I 140 (EB3) to port my PD to EB2 application - No need to File for 140
3) If they have to file I 140 again for EB2...is this I 140 goes through the regular time frames (12months) (OR) since my EB3 140 is already approved my EB2 140 gets approved faster. -- They approve Faster in a month
Not so Happy scenario and reality
